Jessica Lynch
M-Club Director | Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs
Jessica Lynch, a 2005 Ole Miss graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, joined the Alumni Association as Director of M-Club in 2022, Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs.
In this role, Lynch works to build relationships with current and former letterwinners, oversee club communication, create reunion events and assist with the M-Club Hall of Fame year to year. She also oversees alumni clubs out-of-state as well as Mississippi.
She is also responsible for awarding the Wobble Davidson Scholarship in conjunction with the M-Club Board of Directors.
Lynch has a passion for the M-Club as a life member and is eager to grow membership with more active involvement from its members, current and future.
She has seen Ole Miss from the student-athlete perspective while in college as a student athletic trainer. After college, her career path carried her to a position in corporate wellness for 10 years in Jackson, Mississippi. Most recently she was partnerships manager at Visit Oxford, the tourism arm of the city. There she worked to build relationships with the local community and university along with recruiting sports tourism events to Oxford.
During her time at Ole Miss, she envisioned what working for the university would one day look like and now that vision has become a reality.
“The opportunity to work for my alma mater and something so near and dear to my heart was a chance I couldn’t pass up,” Lynch said. “Athletes at Ole Miss today may not have grown up an Ole Miss fan, so I want to share with them what it means to truly be part of the Ole Miss family, not only as a student-athlete, but as active alumni as well.”
She not only works to increase membership in the M-Club alumni chapter, but also to engage former letterwinners to be active participants in their club.
While Lynch is positioned at Ole Miss to help strengthen relationships with former letterwinners, she also mentors current athletes not only from an athletic perspective but also in a professional one. The M-Club provides the opportunity for letterwinners to maintain relationships across different sports, generations and geographical locations. She works closely with Ole Miss Athletics and the University of Mississippi Foundation as well in her role.
Jessica is married to Jay Lynch and they have two children, Nora and James, and reside in Oxford.
